PAIR ARITA WARE PORCELAIN PLATES WITH LARGE SHALLOW SERVING BOWL.1) 18th/19th century, Japan. Lobated edge, chrysanthemum pattern of various brocades. Spurious Ming Cheng Hua mark on bottom. 2) Large round shallow bowl polychrome decorated overall with a gathering of scholars centering a rondel with Shishi amongst scrolling vinery in underglaze blue, all written in gilt and brocade border.
