*FANTASTIC 32 AND 28 GAUGE CSM MODEL 21 “DELUXE GRAND AMERICAN” TWO BBL SET WITH FINE GOLD AND ENGRAVING BY GIOVANELLI, AND CASE.

SN W38430. Cal. 28 & 32 ga. 28″ Bbls, 28 ga marked for full and full, and 32 ga marked for mod and IC, with raised, ventilated ribs are marked “MODEL 21 – CSM -” over “TRADEMARK”, and with gauge on tops of left bbls. Engine turned bbl flats are stamped with CSM proofs, SN, gauge, and chamber. Blued, flat side action with automatic safety and gold plated single selective trigger is engraved in 21-6 style with full coverage scroll engraving within scrolled gold wire borders, surrounding dog and bird scenes in flush inlaid gold; a setter points a rising duck on left, with a pointer pointing and flushing a grouse on right. Trigger plate depicts a ruffed grouse flying in front of birch trees. This fine engraving is by Giovanelli, whose signature appears on trigger plate. Nicely flame figured American walnut straight grip buttstock measures 14-1/2″ over checkered wood butt, and is carved in 21-B style. Matching beavertail forend with inset contrasting wood tip serves both sets of bbls. 28 GA BBLS: Bore diameter: left -.549, right – .549. Bore restrictions: left – .024 (full), right – .024 (full). Drop at heel: 2-7/16″, drop at comb: 1-1/2″. Cast: neutral. Weight: 7 lbs. 3 oz. LOP: 14-1/2″. 32 GA. BBLS: Bore diameter at muzzles: left -.490, right – .486. Drop at heel: 2-3/8″, drop at comb: 1-7/16″. Cast: neutral. Weight: 7 lbs. 7 oz. LOP: 14-1/2″. High quality oak and leather case with brass corners, is lined in burgundy cloth, and has black leather CSM label in lid. Dividers have oak tops, and case contains square oil bottle, 28 ga. snap caps, cleaning equipment, and exterior straps.
