FAHUA GLAZED FOOTED CENSER.

China. Late Ming Dynasty. The vessel perched upon four scrolled legs with molded dragons and finished in vibrant aubergine, turquoise, green, and egg yolk colored glazes. An opening on each side of the neck which formerly held removable handles. Comes with wood stand. SIZE: 8-1/2″ w x 8″ h. PROVENANCE: The Webster Family Trust descended from the Rockefeller/Dodge Family. CONDITION: Loss to the head of each applied dragon. Scattered flaking to the glaze, two cracks extending from the rim. Handles no longer present. 51508-18 (400-500) – Lot 3581
