SN G110. Cal. 12 ga. 2-3/4″ Chambers. This fine hand made gun incorporating Tony Galazan’s ingenious adaptation of the vaunted Boss OU, features 30″ demi-bloc bbls, fitted with “Teague” (?) choke tubes. Bbls have slightly raised, matted, solid rib marked “A. GALAZAN” on left side of top bbl, and “CONNECTICUT SHOTGUN MFG. CO.” and “N. B. CT U.S.A.” on right. Bbl flat is engraved with SN, gauge, and chamber length. Case hardened, low profile, OU action is fitted with pinless sidelocks with hidden access flaps for lock removal at tops of each lockplate. Safety is purposely blocked out, and inoperable. Gun is fitted with single non-selective trigger. Action and lockplates are hand engraved in classic English style rose and scroll, mimicking Boss’s style, with 12 rose bouquets. “GALAZAN” is on scroll terminated riband on each lockplate. Single beaded, blued trigger guard has gold SN on tang. Spectacular, intricately marbled and nicely stump figured European walnut square knob pistol grip buttstock measures 14-1/4″ over thin black Decelerator pad. Stock features classic drop points, and borderless point pattern closely spaced checkering. Matching ejector forend has iron shaped to resemble Boss’s ejector housing, and Anson type release. Bore diameter: top -.728, bottom – .729. Bore restrictions: Teague chokes. Drop at heel: 1-7/16″, drop at comb: 1-3/16″. Cast: Neutral. Weight: 8 lbs. 8 oz. LOP: 14-1/4″. CONDITION: Excellent. Bbls retain over 95% orig blue, silvering at muzzles and along sides of rib, with a few light marks. Action retains over 90% orig case hardening color, silvering on sharp edges and beads, thinning slightly on bottom from normal hand wear. Thumbpiece is slightly silvered. Trigger guard is slightly silvered at grip. There are a few minor marks and scratches, and one or two a bit deep and long, in orig stock finish, mostly on right side of butt. Bores are excellent. Action is tight. Ejectors are strong and in time. Trigger works. A fine high quality American made gun designed to compete with the best shotguns made in the world today. 50845-1 MGM191 (25,000-35,000) – Lot 3576
