BLACK AND WHITE JADE COVERED JAR.

China, 18/19th c. Of expanded rounded rectangular form, the vase supported by a rectangular foot base, the waist carved two beast mask handles with looped rings, the body carved with dragon and phoenix patterns within open panels, the cover of angular bell form. The stone is of greyish white and black with slight russet. SIZE: 9-3/4″ h x 4-5/8″ w x 2-1/4″ d CONDITION: Minor chips on the rim, with some stone inclusions. 7-75368 (15,000-18,000) – Lot 3576
