SN 55740. Cal. 12 ga. 28″ Bbls are marked for “skeet” and “skeet” with standard ventilated rib, and are marked with St. Louis address on left, patent numbers on right, along with “MADE IN BELGIUM”. Coin finished OU action has non-plated single selective trigger, and is engraved with 80% coverage medium scroll within heart borders surrounding game scenes signed by Felix Funken; pair of black game cocks spar on left side, as trio of females look on. Right side depicts nye of pheasant with many members sitting on ground, one flying. A spaniel retrieving a duck is on bottom of action. Relatively plain European walnut long tang round knob buttstock measures 14-3/8″ over black Decelerator pad. Field type forend matches well. Bore diameter: top -.730, bottom – .730. Bore restrictions: top – .006 (skeet), bottom – .007 (skeet). Drop at heel: 2-7/16″, drop at comb: 1-11/16″. Cast: neutral. Weight: 7 lbs. 12 oz. LOP: 14-3/8″. Twin ivory bead sights.
