MERMOD FRERES INTERCHANGEABLE CYLINDER MUSIC BOX.Nice big mahogany case with large carving of musical instruments and foliage on the front. Heavy molding around base and lid with raised panel. Case has original finish with nickel-plated hardware and ivory key escutcheons. Movement is beautifully restored with nickel plating highly polished and bed plate re-painted. Has three interchangeable cylinders with six tunes each. Also has mandolin attachment. Inside lid is a large celluloid tag. SIZE: 34″ w x 15″ d x 11″ t. CONDITION: Case has original finish nicely restored with a few minor dings. One ivory escutcheon is cracked.
