FINE A. H. WATERS MODEL 1836 FLINTLOCK SINGLE SHOT U.S. MARTIAL PISTOL.NSN. Cal. 54. This is a very nice example, showing light use of an 1844 dated M-1836 A. H. Waters flintlock pistol made in Middleton, CT in standard configuration with 8-1/2″ rnd bbl. This gun has crisp markings including two very bright and crisp inspector’s cartouches. CONDITION: Very good to fine overall. Metal shows old cleaning and is overall grey/bright with light areas of staining and pitting. Markings are all crisp and well discerned. Stock is sound, well fit with hand worn patina, minor cosmetic blemishes and as noted, two well struck and discernible inspector’s cartouches.
