*BROWNING SUPERPOSED SUPERLIGHT .410 CUSTOM SHOP EXHIBITION SHOTGUN WITH BAERTEN D5 ENGRAVING AND BOX.

SN C95. Cal. 410. 26-1/4″ Bbls with narrow, solid rib, are engraved in script with Morgan Utah and Montreal PQ addresses, and “Made in Belgium”. Left side of breech end of bbl is marked for modified and full chokes. Rounded Superlight coin finished action with non-automatic safety and selective single trigger (finger blade checkered) is engraved with full coverage large, open acanthus scroll with floral highlights in a background of small scroll in “D5” style. Engravers signature “J Baerten” is at bottom rear left side. Very fine burl/ stump figured claro walnut straight grip Superlight buttstock measures 14-1/2″ over skip line checkered wood butt. Modified point pattern checkering wraps over top of grip. Schnabeled Superlight one piece forend matches well, but is of plain walnut. Bore diameter at muzzles: top -.382, bottom – .393. Drop at heel: 2″, drop at comb: 1-7/16″. Cast: Approx 1/2″ off. Weight: 6 lbs. 4 oz. LOP: 14-1/2″. Black and gold box has no end label. PROVENANCE: Remarkable William Larkin Moore Private Estate Collection of Fine Sporting Arms. CONDITION: Excellent, very near to new, with a few very light handling and assembly marks on wood and metal. Shows scant evidence of firing. Mechanically crisp. Front bead broken off.
