GROUP OF FOUR CHINESE CARVED TEAK AND ROSEWOOD FERN STANDS.

Late 19th century, China. Two near pairs. First pair with octagonal tops centering rose marble inserts raised on elongated cabriole legs alternating with floral pierced carved friezes joined by a floral carved cross stretcher. The second pair with circular tops with beaded edge, centering circular rose marble inserts each on tall carved cabriole legs alternating with pierced floral carved friezes with floral carved X-form stretcher. SIZE: Octagonal pair 36″ h x 17″ d overall. Round pair 35-1/2″ h x 16″ d approx. CONDITION: One round drilled marble top resulting in multiple cracks in marble. One octagonal stand has been stripped and in need of re-polishing. Frieze panels all intact, generally good overall. 50494-14 (800-1,200) – Lot 3535
