THREE LATER GERMAN BELSNICKLE SANTAS.

Similar form to late 1800s Santas; the same cottage industry produced a look that continued into the 1930s. 1) Santa made from two pressed cardboard halves. Handpainted with glitter decoration and feather tree twig. Dated on inside “1939”. 2) Cast composition Santa with mica snow decor and probable later bottle brush tree. Great face on this passive fatherly Santa. 3) Pressed paper Santa with dark red coat and black boots; feather tree to side. All Belsnickles circa late 1920s-early 30s. SIZE: Tallest is 7-1/2″.
