SN 21812. Cal. 12 ga. 28″ bbls, 2-3/4″ chambers, IC/M chokes. Bbl wedge engraving. Double ivory beads. Concave rib. Krupp steel bbls. Deeply engraved receiver & metal work in X grade style with 2 ducks on left, 2 quail on right & “low head” fox on belly. Kautzky single selective trigger in center position. Auto ejectors. Splinter forend with ribbon in checkering pattern. Buttstock is nicely grained & figured with ribbon in grip checkering. Solid red Silvers pad. LOP 14-1/8″ over pad. DAC 1-3/4″. DAH 2-7/8″. CONDITION: Bbls retain a majority of blue, with thinning & handling marks. Bbls appear professionally shortened with chokes opened. Small hole drilled in left bbl flat. Receiver & metal work have toned to a pleasing silver. Screws very nice. Forend is shorter than typically seen with flat ebony wedge tip, gives the appearance of factory work. Color of forend is darker than buttstock. Nice finish on buttstock with light bumps & handling marks. Pad is compressed at heel & chipping at toe. Top lever at center.
