A nicely rendered oversized pre-war styled Santa with red coat and blue pants. Composition boots, hands and head with cotton beard and felt clothing. Upper body lifts to reveal cardboard candy container which is marked “Germany”. Accessories include black leather belt with nickel plated buckle and white trimmed sock-style cap (figure would have originally held feather tree). SIZE: 21″ t. CONDITION: Light overall soiling; felt pants have small moth eaten area hidden by red jacket. Separation of cardboard at waist area. Overall good. 1-13948 (1,500-2,000) – Lot 3516
