BRASS BARREL BLUNDERBUSS FLINTLOCK COACH GUN.NSN. Cal. 16 bore. This cute little carbine measures just over 30″ with a 14-1/2″ brass bbl which swells to just over 1-1/2″ at muzzle, Birmingham proofs, early circa 1760 unsupported cock with indiscernible makers mark on lock. CONDITION: Gun is sound and solid with light mustard patina to brass bbl with discernible commercial proofs. Brass mounts are engraved with similar matching patina. Iron lock is dark grey/brown with pitting. Stock is refinished with 5″ repair at toe and large inset repairs to forestock forward of lock and last 7″ of forestock is restoration as is copper tipped ramrod. 31377-21 JS (2,000-3,000) – Lot 3505
