*VERY GOOD WW2 INLAND DIVISION M1 CARBINE.

SN 5150470. Cal 30M1. 18″ barrel marked “INLAND DIV 44” (without month). Traditional type 3 Post WW2 Rebuild with perch belly M2 stock and slide adjustable rear sight. Internal component parts are of mixed manufacture as is typical in most all rebuilt M1 Carbines. Late features include, toggle safety, magazine release marked with “M” and type 3 barrel band. Type 3 barrel band has been modified by removal of bayonet lug. Butt stock and 2 rivet hand guard are void of manufacturer markings however pistol grip is “P” proofed inside box indicating arsenal refurbish. Dark Grey/green phosphate finish on metal with stocks being finished in traditional arsenal oil. CONDITION: Very fine as rebuilt. Bore and mechanics are excellent. Finish show very little wear or distress. Wood stocks show small bruises and abrasions as is to be expected. 51500-56 TDW (700-1,000) C&R – Lot 3494
