MARKLIN CENTRAL BAHNHOF STATION.In 1-gauge scale, this hand painted Marklin station, circa early 20th century has an open center section with a waiting room on the left and a telegraph station on the right. Typical of Marklin, they employed acid etched designed glass for the windows that would be lit up by candle power. Front entrance platform on right corner had a bell accessory (missing). A variety of colors to catch one’s eye as well as finely scalloped roof motif further enhance the visual appeal of this station. SIZE: 14″ l x 8″ d. CONDITION: Building appears to be in original finish which is fair to good.
