MARKLIN DURCHGANG STATION.An interesting lithographed and hand painted O-gauge station from the 1910s-20s era featuring the central station with attached canopy/waiting area. Once again, candle power was employed to light the station. These stations were reproduced in miniature form of typical European stations. Station in vibrantly painted in yellow and green with brown railings and lithographed windows, doors, and signs. It appears the station has older aged and crazed paint and/or touch up. SIZE: 13″ l x 5-1/4″ d. CONDITION: More than likely on the roof there was a pole with telegraph insulators, which are no longer present. Lacking lithographed sign above central door. 1-14183 (800-1,200) – Lot 3486 Auction: Advertising, Toy & Doll - Spring 2014 Please Note: All prices include the hammer price plus the buyer’s premium, which is paid by the buyer as part of the purchase price.
