SN 242084. Cal. 12 ga. 26″ bbls. 2-3/4″ chambers. Full length matted rib with ivory mid and front bead. 1-1/2 frame. Water table with SN and grade designation. Bbl flats with unstruck bbl weight of 4 lbs 2 oz. Parker SST, automatic ejectors, non-automatic safety. Custom straight grip stock of American walnut is checkered in 2-point pattern with nickel shield near toe and nicely checkered butt. Splinter forearm checkered in typical V-pattern with Deeley latch that is zig-zag border engraved and steel tip. Receiver with typical zig-zag border pattern and marked “Parker” on bottom of frame. Trigger guard bow with zig-zag pattern and custom extended tang with enhanced SN engraved. Bore diameter: left – .728, right – .729. Bore restrictions: left – .001 (skeet), right – .001 (skeet). Minimum wall thickness: left – .032, right – .033. Weight: 7 lbs. 7 oz. Drop at comb: 1-1/2″, drop at heel: 2″. LOP: 14-1/16″. Bbls retain approximately 80% of what appears to be their orig blue with light scratches and minor staining. Receiver retains 50% lightly faded original case hardening. Custom buttstock is a well done replacement in American walnut and retains most of its hand-rubbed finish. Forearm appears orig and has been restored and retains most of its hand-rubbed finish. This gun likely started life as a pistol grip and has been made into a straight stocked gun. Checkering is sharp. Bores are excellent. Trigger functions well.
