Second bbl set – 28″ fluid steel, 2-5/8″ Cham. with matted ventilated rib which is not of Parker manufacture. 1-1/2 frame. Water table marked with SN and grade designation. Bbl flats stamped “Overload proved / Parker Gun Works.” Unstruck bbl weight 4 lbs 2 oz. on orig bbl set and 3 lbs. 11 oz. on second set. Proper beavertail forearm reinforcement lug on orig bbl set and standard lug on second set. Nickel plated Parker single selective trigger, non-auto safety, auto ejectors. Capped full pistol grip buttstock with flame grained American walnut checkered in typical “D” grade fashion with teardrop behind action and finished with black Deccelerator brand pad. Un-engraved nickel shield at toe. “Parker Bros. / Meriden, Conn.” grip cap. Beavertail forearm with Deeley latch engraved in typical “D” pattern and finely checkered in floral point pattern with mullered borders. Action is engraved in typical later DHE pattern with pointer on left, setter on right surrounded by Parker’s scroll. Bottom of action lightly scroll engraved with four pheasants surrounded by scroll. Trigger guard bow is nicely scroll engraved with SN noted at tang. Bbl measurements bbl set 1: Bore diameter :left – .735, right – .729. Bore restrictions: left – .033 (full), right – .013 (LT MOD). Minimum wall thickness: left – .032, right – .032 . Weight: 8 lbs. 8 oz. Drop at comb: 1-1/2″, drop at heel: 1-15/16″. LOP: 14-1/8″ from rear position single trigger. Bbls retain nearly all of their professional quality re-black (both sets) with engraving lightly softened on bbl set No. 1 and weep holes and plugs on bottom rib of bbl set No. 2. Action retains approximately 15-20% orig case color, mostly faded, though visible in protected areas. Engraving is crisp. Buttstock and forearm are excellent and retain most of a custom hand rubbed oil finish with just a couple of minute handling marks throughout. Top lever is slightly left of center though gun is tight and on face. Trigger works, ejectors are in time, mechanics are excellent.
