1) WALTHER MODEL 4. SN 72793. Cal. 7.65mm. 3-1/2″ bbl. Marked on left side of slide “SELBSTLADE-PISTOLE CAL.765. WALTHER’S-PATENT.” / Walther Banner. Crown N proof on slide frame bbl. Crown F Imperial proof on left trigger guard web. Script “M” within circle on right trigger guard web. Matching numbers of frame, slide and magazine. Horn grips. PROVENANCE: The Esteemed Collection Of Noted Expert And Author Warren Buxton. CONDITION: Good with some blue remaining. Black paint on bbl shroud and front sight. Light surface rust and minor pitting. Markings clear. Good working order. Bore has strong rifling with light roughness. C&R 2) WALTHER MODEL 4. SN 112065. Cal. 7.65mm. 3-3/8″ bbl. Marked on left side of slide “SELBSTLACE-P.STOLE CAL.7,65. WALTHER’S-PATENT” / Walther banner, Crown M Imperial proof. Crown N inspected. Right side of slide marked “Carl Walther WAFFENFABRIK Zella St.Blasii.”. Matching numbers on slide and frame. Hard rubber grips. Magazine is unmarked. PROVENANCE: The Esteemed Collection Of Noted Expert And Author Warren Buxton. CONDITION: Very good with a majority of finish. Light surface rust and handling marks. Minor dings. Good working order.
