Nickel-plated double triggers. Auto ejectors. Auto safety. Capped American Walnut full pistol grip stock with gold shield near tow engraved C.P.S. Jr. and checkered in standard B grade pattern with checkered side panels ending in fleur-de-lis and standard B grade wave and point pattern around grip. Pistol grip cap marked “PARKER BROS/MERIDEN CONN”. Hawkins ventilated pad. Splinter forearm with engraved Deely latch and engraved steel tip is near fully checkered with point pattern around tip. Receiver is beautifully engraved with Gamble’s quail in grass on right, bobwhite quail on left all surrounded by well-cut Parker scroll. Fences and top of action and top lever also scroll engraved with geometric pattern designs. Bottom of frame nicely scroll engraved in wedge pattern and trigger plate is near fully engraved with setter and pointer in farm scene flushing a pheasant. Trigger guard bow is scroll engraved and lightly floral border engraved at tang with SN noted. Bore diameter: left – .730, right – .730. Bore restrictions: left – .035 (full), right – .026 (Imp. Mod.). Minimum wall thickness: left – .030, right – .031 . Weight: 7 lbs. 6 oz. Drop at comb: 1-1/2″, drop at heel: 2-1/4″. LOP: 14-1/16″. Receiver retains virtually all of its restored cyanide Case hardened finish. Trigger guard retains nearly all of its restored blue. Doll’s head extension is slightly raised. Bbls are on face.
