SN 216763. Cal. 12 ga. 30″ bbl with 2-3/4″ chamber. Full length matted rib with steel front bead and marked “Parker Bros. Makers Meriden. CT. U.S.A. Parker Acme Steel”. 1-1/2 frame. Miller single trigger, automatic ejectors, non-automatic safety. Capped pistol grip buttstock with checkered side panels and fleur-de-lis finely checkered around wrist and fleur-de-lis pattern that extends forwards comb. Gold plate in grip cap and overall a finely figured piece of more blonde European walnut. Replacement custom beavertail forearm checkered in 4-pt pattern with scroll engraved Deeley latch is of American walnut. Receiver is finely engraved with 2 pointers on right, a pointer and a setter on left, both in field scenes surrounded by well executed Parker scroll and marked “Parker Bros.” towards back of action. Bottom of frame is beautifully scroll engraved and as is trigger plate which shows 2 large dogs flushing a rooster pheasant all surrounded by nicely cut scroll. Trigger guard bow with scroll and floral bust and SN in light wave pattern noted at tang. Bore diameter: left – .729, right – .730. Bore restrictions: left – .033 (full), right – .038 (full). Minimum wall thickness: left – .029, right – .034 . Weight: 8 lbs. Drop at comb: 1-9/16″, drop at heel: 2-9/16″. LOP: 14-1/16″. CONDITION: Excellent as partially refurbished. Bbls retain most of what appears to be their orig blued finish with light handling marks and a few minor scratches. Receiver retains 50-60% beautiful Parker orig case colors. Engraving is still sharp. Orig buttstock with old matte oil finish is excellent with scattered light handling marks throughout. Forearm as noted above is excellent and retains nearly all of its custom finish. Bores are excellent. Trigger and back of trigger plate with applied case color, though functionally works well and overall mechanics are excellent, though gun is ever so slight off the face.
