4 MISCELLANEOUS WINDUP VEHICLES.

1) Marx finely lithographed windup coupe with a most interesting feature. When the toy is turned upside down, one sees how Marx sometimes utilized previously lithographed tin from other Marx toys and employed the tin in other toys. Overall, very fine original condition except a spot on right rear tire that has some corrosion and litho loss. 2)Strauss crazy clown car with a removable driver. When wound, toy would race forward and change direction without notice. Good condition with uniform chipping and scratches. 3) Lindstrom speedboat with a simulated and functional outboard motor. When wound, the motor would propel the craft through the water. Very fine plus, especially considering that it probably never saw water. 4) Japanese Isetta. A great little toy that just like the real life vehicle, the front of the car opened to allow the driver entry. Produced only for four years, and known as the bubble car, it became the top selling single cylinder car in the world, but then again not too many one cylinder cars were produced. SIZE: Varies: 6-1/2″ to 12″ l. CONDITION: As noted above. 1-14252 (300-600) – Lot 3402
