RED GLAZED “LION” CENSER.

19th century, China. This well potted red glazed censer features scattered painted gold, on body, lid, handles, and patterns. Two beast mask handles attached to compressed body below slightly waisted neck. The lid mounted lingzhi on top, along with pierced carvings of Chinese coins. Bottom bears four character QIANLONG mark. SIZE: H: 2-7/8 in (7.3cm) W:5-1/8 in (13cm). CONDITION: Good. 9-97046 (2,000-4,000) – Lot 3386
