This strip in exceptional condition, measures 57″ x 4″ with four 6″ round central medallions each with 13 stars surrounding a larger central star. Sinew sewn beads with thread sewn and calico cloth backing. Each medallion has a leather tassel with two large sky blue beads. American flag motif in American Indian bead work is quite scarce and desirable, especially in early reservation era. PROVENANCE: From the personal estate collection of John W.
