*FINE PERAZZI “MX 8 SCO ORO” OVER-UNDER CLAYS GUN WITH FINE ENGRAVING AND GOLD INLAID GAME SCENES BY TALENTI, WITH CASE.

SN 84200. Cal. 12 ga. 2-3/4″ Chambers. 29-1/2″ Mono-bloc bbls with broad, matted, ventilated rib, (and no side ribs) are marked “Perazzi BRESCIA MADE IN ITALY” along with gauge and chamber on left side and with importer (Perazzi USA) on right. Bottom flat is stamped with 1992 Italian nitro proofs. Coin finished, low profile, OU action with selective single trigger in removable trigger/ firing group, is engraved with near full coverage floral accents in small open shaded scroll background. Bottom of action has grade gold inlaid in forend mortise, and scroll surrounds bulino scenes of chukar partridge, flush inlaid in gold; a pair take wing from hedgerow, the first to rise has obviously been hit by shot, as feathers are flying. Left side depicts a trio of chukar partridge flying over cropland; another group flying over hilly open terrain on right. Left side scene is signed “Talenti” (Ugo, presently working for Creative Art); the other two scenes are unsigned. Trigger plate and trigger guard with matching scroll, are blued, as is top lever. Exceptional, exhibition quality, burl figured and marbled European walnut extreme pistol grip buttstock measures 14-3/8″ over leather covered black pad. Point pattern checkering is at grip. Matching one piece semi-beavertail target forend has Deeley type release. Bore diameter: top -.724, bottom – .729. Bore restrictions: Screw chokes. Drop at heel: 2-1/8″, drop at comb: 1-3/8″. Cast: Neutral. Weight: 7 lbs. 14 oz. LOP: 14-3/8″. Red ABS Perazzi marked case is lined in blue Perazzi marked cloth, and contains stock dismounting tool. CONDITION: Excellent, very near to new, with only a few light handling and assembly marks in wood and metal, and faint firing halos on breechface. Mechanically crisp. Case is excellent.
