KILGORE STUTZ ROADSTER.

Commonly referred to as the Stutz, but this is actually believed to be a Pontiac roadster. A fabulous toy with a bevy of separate nickel plated components such as a fold-down windshield, cowl lights, separate rear bumpers, etc. This car is handsomely enameled in green with a creamy yellow chassis and nickel plated iron wheels including the spare tire. A large and visually attractive vehicle. Highly sought after by cast iron automotive collectors, this toy usually has missing trim pieces, but all pieces are present and appear to be original with this example. A great go-with for the TAT airplane, quite possibly this is the pilot’s car. SIZE: 10-1/2″ l. CONDITION: At first glance, toy appears to be all original in regards to paint. However, upon close examination, it was possibly dropped and sustained some damage to the undercarriage and was then professionally repaired and is virtually undetectable to the naked eye. 1-14000 (800-1,200) – Lot 3365
