SN 18085. Cal. 20 ga. 2-3/4″ Chambers. 27-1/2″ Mono-bloc bbls are fitted with solid, matted rib, and are marked with Beretta name and address on mono-bloc. Bottom of mono-bloc is stamped with 1957 Italian nitro proofs and engraved with importers name and address (BSA). Case hardened, low profile, scallop-backed, boxlock, OU action features non-automatic safety, square crossbolt third fastener, and dbl triggers. Action is engraved with line and geometric borders. A silver pigeon is relief engraved on top lever. Makers name and address are on bottom. Finely marbled and nicely figured European walnut round knob pistol grip buttstock measures 14-3/8″ over thinned Silver type pad with standard checkering at grip, and a vacant silver oval on toe line. Matching slim one piece forend has Deeley type release. Bore diameter: top -.625, bottom – .623. Bore restrictions: top – .029 (full), bottom – .018 (mod). Wall thickness: top – .027, bottom – .038. Drop at heel: 2-1/8″, drop at comb: 1-3/8″. Cast: neutral. Weight: 5 lbs. 14 oz. LOP: 14-3/8″. “Beretta” woven canvas case with leather trim is lined in tan corduroy, and contains bags for bbls and action. CONDITION: Excellent, as refinished, retaining over 90% of nicely renewed finishes on all metal parts and wood, with a few light subsequent handling marks and silvering. Pad is new.
