LARGE DENT “LUCKY BOY” 12″ TRI-MOTOR AIRPLANE.In the 1930s Dent manufactured a number of airplanes. This particular model would have been called the Lindy. However, they were unable to secure licensing rights to do so. Made in various sizes, this example has a 12″ wingspan and rubber tires mounted to wooden hubs. Attractively enameled in orange with black highlights. This is the largest of the Dent airplane series with a 12″ wingspan. SIZE: 12″ wingspan. CONDITION: Of later vintage, likely to be second castings.
