Overall length 60″, 4-1/2″ x 1-5/8″ buttplate. 45″ full oct unsigned rifled bbl. This rifle has curly maple stock and nicely checkered wrist. The characteristics of the gun are correct for the York County area. The incised carving under and rear of the cheekpiece could well be attributed to gunsmith Joseph Welshans.
