1) MAUSER P-08 LUGER. SN 328r. Cal. 9mm. Fine straight specimen of S/42 Mauser Luger with Weimar Era style droop-winged eagle proofs. Mismatched 4856v aluminum based mag with Eagle over 63 proof. Other visible parts appear matching. Grip number not discernible inside grips. CONDITION: Overall finish and appearance extremely fine. Over 90% blued finish with high edge wear to bare metal and some areas of light pitting. Markings are very clear. Straw is over 80%. Bore has strong rifling turning dark in grooves. Grips show some bruised diamond wear and loss of several diamonds, particularly on the right side, but overall a clean and handsome pistol with 1934 dated ROBERT LARSON holster. C&R 2) BYF/ MAUSER P-38. SN 1378a. Cal. 9mm. Straightforward relatively early “byf42” Mauser P-38 with typical Eagle over 135 proof marks and reproduction mag. Bbl, frame, and slide all matching SN. Trigger fires in sgl action only. Otherwise, appears functional. CONDITION: Overall appearance and finish very good to fine with several scattered spots of poor storage pitting, mostly along high points with finish otherwise thinning to bare metal particularly at high points.
