Circa 1920, Bradley and Hubbard Foundry, West Meriden, Connecticut. This excellent cast iron example depicting a squirrel on a log eating a nut. Stamped on the back of base “M S”. Reference: The Doorstop Book by John and Nancy Smith, page 158. SIZE: 11-1/2″ h x 9-3/4″w. CONDITION: Fine casting details with original painted surfaces with normal and expected minor rust spots and minimal chips to paint. Very good overall. 9-91521 (500-700) – Lot 3341
