SN 012282. Cal. 9mm. 5″ bbl. Marked Walther in a banner, “P.38”, SN, eagle 359 inspected. Matching SN’s on bbl, frame, slide, and magazine. Black checkered plastic grips. Magazine has SN stamped in floorplate, matching SN on right side in electric pencil. Non-matching SN in electric pencil mostly removed on left side. Accompanied by black leather clam shell holster marked on back “A.FISCHER/BERLINC.2/1939”. PROVENANCE: The Esteemed Collection Of Noted Expert And Author Warren Buxton. CONDITION: Very good, with extremely light pinprick pitting along edges of right side of slide, a few minor spots on bbl and around the trigger guard also on the right side. Finish wear to high points. Markings are clear. Bore has strong rifling, showing wear with roughness. Excellent working order. Grips are very good with light handling marks.
