Right side of slide marked with late commercial eagle N proof and SN. Front of bbl marked “7.65 PARA”. Right side of frame marked “CAT1063” eagle/N, “AA”, antler. Both magazines are banner WALTHER marked, “P 38/cal 7.65mm Para”. Checkered wood grips. Unmarked steel cleaning rod. Comes in wood case with banner WALTHER on lid and WALTHER leather label marked “P 38/ 1938-1998/ 60 Jahre Walther Heerespistole/ Waffenfabrik Walther.Zella-Mehlis (Thur)/ Carl Walther GmbH Waffenfabrik. Ulm/Donau”. Comes with orig test target, manual, and card. PROVENANCE: The Esteemed Collection Of Noted Expert And Author Warren Buxton. CONDITION: Gun is very fine, exhibiting minimal wear, if any.
