This gun is explained further on p. 208, pictured p. 209 in The P.38 Pistol, Vol. III by Warren Buxton. “JVD” marked magazine. Accompanied by proper black leather pebble grained clam shell holster marked on back. PROVENANCE: The Esteemed Collection Of Noted Expert And Author Warren Buxton. CONDITION: Very good, retaining majority of orig finish. Markings crisp and clear. Grips are free from cracks. Good working order. Bore has light pitting with strong rifling.
