The dish decorated with four phoenix in flight surrounded by a network of meandering vines and flowers all encircled by an iron red and gilt ring accenting the rim. The underside with three sprays of colorful vines and flowers. SIZE: 10-3/4″ dia. PROVENANCE: Estate of a Midwestern Public University Chancellor who died in the late 1930’s. This Chancellor was invited to speak in China in 1930s, and visited Japan and India where he acquired this item. CONDITION: Very good. 49918-3 (2,000-4,000) – Lot 3314
