DAUM CAMEO AND ENAMELED BOX.

Small Daum box has cameo leaves, vines and berries covering the lid to the box with shaded green enameling on the leaves and vines and red enameled berries. Vines flow down to the body of the box in 2 areas on the front all against a mottled red shading to pastel yellow acid textured background. Signed on the side of the lid in cameo “Daum Nancy” with the cross of Lorraine. SIZE: 3-1/4″ dia x 2″ t. CONDITION: Very good to excellent with some very minor roughness to lip of lid. There is a small oval open bubble on the shoulder of the box (from the making). 5-60123 (1,500-2,000) – Lot 3300
