Lot includes: 1) Plains pipe tomahawk, second half of the 19th Century. Crudely forged steel head on hardwood. File burnt and tack decoration and pewter inlaid stem. 2) Plains style pipe tomahawk, late 19th century cast steel bowl. Finely tooled with scalloped decorated blade. Mounted on hardwood pewter inlaid stem and file burnt decoration. 3) Plains style presentation pipe tomahawk. Finely engraved brass pipe head with steel inlaid blade. Mounted on hardwood handle with inlaid tooled brass decoration and horn mouth piece. 4) Plains style pipe tomahawk. Steel pierced pipe surrounded by beaded and high fringe handle. The head is signed “GBH” with pierced cross in blade. 5) Plains type pipe tomahawk. Steel finely tooled blade with crown cartouche on tack decorated hardwood handle. 6) War ax. Hand forged blade with illegible makers embossed mark mounted on crudely carved tack decorated handle with rich patina.
