DAUM WHEEL CARVED CROCUS VASE.

Daum crocus vase has olive green cameo stems and leaves extending upward from the foot and supporting padded and wheel carved crocus flowers. Vase has two orange crocus flowers and one grouping of two small purple crocus flowers all set against a mottled blue, yellow, cream and violet background. Vase is further decorated with random areas of martele in the background. Signed on the side in cameo “Daum Nancy” with the cross of Lorraine. SIZE: 12″ t. PROVENANCE: Private New England Collection. CONDITION: Very good to excellent. There is a color skip at the bottom stem of the purple crocus that is from the making and definitely not damaged. 5-69248 (8,000-12,000) – Lot 3294
