Daum vase has black cameo stems and leaves leading to padded red over white wheelcarved poppies all set against a mottled background of orange shading to white. Background is covered with martele carving and the vase is finished with a dark brown shading to black foot with stylized leaf cameo decoration. Signed on the side of the foot with engraved signature “Daum Nancy” with the cross of Lorraine. SIZE: 7-1/4″ t. PROVENANCE: Private New England Collection.
