1) Brass door plate with ring handle, keyhole, and lock. Designed after early European models, and is a period example, 18th century. 2) Cast brass pierced wall hanger, swiveling on a bracket. Arm decorated with a six-pointed star. Bracket with a pierced diamond, with a secondary hook functioning as locking mechanism, and with cast brass hanger which slides over the arm. 3) Brass handles joined to a swiveling iron cover with incised mark 54. 4) Small copper and brass powder flask of raindrop shape. Spring loaded nozzle does not fully function. 5) Continental engraved brass and silvered steel pocket sundial with compass. Square top is engraved with flower heads, centering a silvered steel disk, flanked by adjustable numerical arms supporting a pierced, cartouche shaped measure. 6) 20th Century copy of a regulation Ames Staff Officer’s sword, stamped “India” on back of blade. Latch mechanism functional. Key absent. 2) Brass mold in good operable condition. Iron cover with pitting and corrosion, otherwise good. 3) Dimples in body. Spring lever as previously described. 4) Structurally very good with functional compass. Very good. 5) Burnished and lacquered. Good overall. 6) Fine overall.
