Monumental Daum vase is decorated with cameo and enameled seagulls in flight above the ocean with a cameo and enameled sea turtle lifting its head out of the water looking upward. The sun is setting beyond the ocean and the cameo cut rays are highlighted with gilding all set against a frosted opalescent background.
