Daum nautical scene vase has black cameo glass boats at sail in a harbor with the outline of a distant shore all set against a mottled green, orange and yellow background. The background has a high polish while the cameo boats and water are matte. Signed on the side in cameo “Daum Nancy 143″ with the cross of Lorraine. SIZE: 6-1/2” t. PROVENANCE: Private New England Collection. CONDITION: There are two small areas on the shiny background that did not get polished (from the making), otherwise very good to excellent. 5-69261 (1,500-2,500) – Lot 3287
