FOUR PLAINS STYLE PIPE TOMAHAWKS ALONG WITH TWO AXES, PIKE HEAD & PIPE TOMAHAWK.

Plains style pipe tomahawks: 1) Having steel finely tooled pipe bowl on hardwood tack decorated stem. 2) Bronze cast and pierced heart head with hardwood handle. 3) Steel finely tooled with pierced heart head on tack decorated hardwood handle. 4) Plains style pipe tomahawk in cast brass with dove-tailed steel blade. Engraved “1882” on one side and stamped “MISSOURI” with a three leaf clover shield shaped cartouche. Mounted on hardwood tack decorated stem. 5) Plains contemporary pipe tomahawk. Chrome steel marked “Windlass India” on hardwood stem with steel mouth piece. 6) African ax of forged steel blade mounted on hardwood handle. Late 19th century. 7) Pike head dug in Otero County, NM. Hand forged, but heavily pitted. 8) Mid 19th century belt ax. Forged iron on crudely carved hardwood handle, probably a later replacement.
