CHINESE IRON RED PASTE BOX.

Late Qing Dynasty period, China. This paste box is well executed in iron red of flowers and butterfly patterns for the cover, and the base box is bordered with a ring of “LEI WEN” pattern on the exterior, while the interior was executed in turquoise colored glaze. The bottom is also turquoise glazed with a six character “JIAQING” mark. SIZE: L: 4-1/2 in (11.5 cm). CONDITION: Good. 9-97079 (2,500-3,500) – Lot 3283
