TWO PLAINS EQUESTRIAN BEADED CLUBS (SKULL CRACKERS) AND AN UNUSUAL CATLINITE PIPE.

Late 19th century. 1) Carved stone head with beaded hide attachment to wrapped beaded wood handle. 2) Carved stone head with full beaded attached to fully beaded wood shaft. 3) Large equestrian club style pipe bowl with buffalo tab. Catlinite with carved ribbing, showing excellent patina and wear. Attached by rawhide to a wooden rawhide and fully beaded stem. Pattern on the stem is salt and pepper. SIZE: 1) 5″ w x 22″ l (overall). 2) 5″ w x 26″ l (overall). 3) 20″ l (overall without tab) 5″ w. PROVENANCE: Rod Fuller Estate Collection. CONDITION: 1) Good condition showing good in use wear. 2) Fair condition with bead loss on the head. 3) Some bead loss and unraveling. 49430-12 (600-900) – Lot 3280
