Handel reverse painted dome shaped shade has brightly colored exotic birds surrounded by tropical flowers and foliage in blue, green and pink all set against a black background. The exterior of the shade has a chipped ice finish. Shade is signed on the inside lower rim “Handel 7026”, also artist signed “Broggi”. Shade rests on a non-Handel base with acanthus leaf decoration and 2 socket cluster. Base is topped with a Handel fleur de lis heat cap. Base is unsigned. SIZE: Shade: 17-7/8″ dia. Lamp: 24″ t.
