DAUM CAMEO AND ENAMELED VASE.

Daum vase in the form of a wine barrel has center band of cameo flowers, stems and leaves surrounding the vase. The leaves are enameled in shades of gray with gilded detail while the stems and flowers are enameled in shades of red with gilded detail. Cameo barrel staves are enameled in translucent light blue with dark blue enameled outline. The barrel cork has a gilded cameo Star of David all set against an acid textured light amber glass body. Signed in the polished pontil with engraved and gilded signature “Daum Nancy” with the cross of Lorraine. SIZE: 8″ t. CONDITION: Very good to excellent with some minor wear to dark blue outline on staves, there is one tiny flea bite to the edge of one stave. 5-69782 (3,500-4,500) – Lot 3275
