DAUM RAIN SCENE LAMP.

Daum cameo and enameled lamp is decorated with cameo wind swept trees which are enameled in shades of grey against a mottled green shading to pink shading to frosted background. Lamp is furthered decorated on both base and shade with raised cameo irregular lines depicting rain being driven by the wind. Foot of the base is enameled in shades of green and grey depicting a grassy ground. Lamp is finished with a hammered iron collar and spider. Signed on the underside of the base in black enamel “Daum Nancy” with a cross of Lorraine. SIZE: Shade: 5-1/2″ dia. Lamp: 14-1/2″ t. PROVENANCE: Private New England Collection. CONDITION: Very good to excellent. Base has been rewired with very short contemporary plastic cord and has a contemporary replacement socket. 5-69239 (20,000-30,000) – Lot 3269
