HANDEL NAUTICAL TABLE LAMP.

Handel table lamp has reverse painted shade with a ship at anchor in a bay with other ships visible in the background. Shoreline encircles the bottom of the shade and there is a lone gnarly tree on the backside of the shade along with a distant lighthouse. Signed on inside of the rim “Handel 7034”. Shade is finished on the exterior with chipped ice and is also stamped on the metal shade ring Handel Lamps. It rests on a decorated base with stylized leaf design impressed around the edge of the foot with acanthus leaf decoration at the bottom of the vertically ribbed riser. Base has a 3 light cluster and Handel fleur de lis heat cap. Base is unsigned. SIZE: Shade 17-3/4″ dia. Lamp 24-1/2″ t. CONDITION: Shade has some minor oxidation to paint on the interior which does not show through to the exterior, otherwise very good.
